IRC idiots

singularity75Over the last two weeks or so I've been periodically messaged in IRC from someone asking to use the nickname I use while on IRC. I had always been polite and refused to do so. Then they(buddy and his friends) started telling me rediculous things like, other guy can't sign onto IRC at all without the nickname I'm using, can't play trivia without the nickname, etc. It's been quite funny of late, and today I just found it endlessly funny. Took a long time for me to stop laughing over it.
Buddy even went so far as to go to an IRCop over the whole thing to force me to change my nickname. Thing is, they don't have a nickserv on the server I use so it was rediculous to say the least. I waited for the inevitable contact from an IRCop and they weren't impressed with the situation, especially after hearing what I had to say on it. The IRCop went back to the others and told them to stop bugging me *ggl*
After talking with a friend of mine in a channel I frequent who is also an IRCop, I found out the guy whose been bugging me has been causing a lot of trouble on the server and may be kicked off soon. I'm not sure why, but I find the whole thing endlessly funny, I'm still smiling and giggling over it and it's been half an hour *ggl*
