My scheduling at the store is what I expected it to be. First, I'm working tomorrow as well as today. . In other words, all weekend but that was due to a scheduling mistake. I was not supposed to work tomorrow. And this next week? Surprise, surprise, they have me working the night before each day they're closed. In other words, using me so they can have long weekends and such. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have had hours this next week I figure. So, hours still sucking there I figure.
As for my wrist, I was okay overall, but only because I was dealing with mostly light things all night. But when I tried to lift heavier items, I was having pain. In fact, I was having twinges of pain all night. Not a good sign. But, as I said before, I'd have a better idea after this weekend. If my wrist losses strength and I drop something due to it, I'll quit on the spot. Sucky pay (essentially minimum wage) is not worth the long term damage/recovery.
I talked with some others there that I haven't seen in some time. They all agree, that I should quit. Mind you, most have been saying that for several months now anyway heh. There's actually another in my department who may be quitting as well in the future. She's just above me seniority wise and her hours have sucked recently as well. She's having money problems as a result, not to mention losing sleep to come in and work those days. If nothing else, me quitting would probably help her in that respect since those hours I do work from time to time have to be made up in some way.
But being back there just reminded me how annoying that place can be. Oh well.
