So..

Didn't get called to work today so I went out and used the last of the expiring coupons for a local video store and got Blade 2 and MIB 2. I watched both of those this afternoon. MIB 2 just seemed too short in my mind. Not a bad movie at all, just really short so I feel kinda abandoned or something. Although great fun watching Lara Flynn Boyle in it. Blade 2....well probably a good thing I haven't seen the original in awhile so I can't compare it to the original. Since that wasn't a problem for me, I really enjoyed the movie. Some great scenes in that movie. Since there was still time before the news, I decided to watch one of the other movies around here I haven't seen yet. One called K-911. Wasn't familiar with title so I watched it. Oy, movie wasn't that good.

After it was over, I got a call from work. I'm going to Port Dover tomorrow it seems for four classes. The first is an unknown, but it's either French or Family Studies I figure. The other three are for math. Should be interesting. I hate having to drive that far since I don't always trust my vehicle (mental note: get off your ass and see about some sort of emergency cell phone use for car). At least it's good money. Since work has been rather steady over all, I'm happy. Work at the store has been nonexistent for me for 29 days now. The last time I was there I left early due to my wrist injury, go figure. I won't be there till at least next Sunday (5 weeks with no work at that point) before I work again. Given that, and how I seem to be doing okay without the money, I'm tempted to just quit that job. I hate working there, it takes up a lot of my time and drains me of energy working at both jobs at times, not to mention the pay sucks. That, and I've really enjoyed having weekends off for once. In almost a year prior, I only had 2 weekends I didn't work at the store, back when I was teaching summer school and was busy as hell with that. So actually having a weekend off was a novelty. I've forgotten how much I miss having the weekend off. So I may quit that job. My wrist is still not 100%, so going back may aggravate it, which is a huge concern for me. Just some thinking I've been doing on this lately.

What else.....I haven't seen some of my friends in some time. I really need to start seeing them in person again soon. Now with warmer weather, car problems won't be as much of an issue, heh (like lack of a decent heater so I won't freeze by the time I get home heh). That'll probably give me an incentive to get that emergency cell phone I figure.

I agree with you about MIB2. I do think that Blade 2 is better than the original because of the shitty CG effects at the end of the first movie. Plus getting to see the vampire hierarchy is bad ass and the mutant strain was rad, too. I dunno, I really liked the 2nd one. It certainly lived up to the first movie.

I watched Blade II at the drive-in with my cousins. I remember the younger one as a *baby*, and she is now in her last years of highschool. :( Oh myyyy I feel old.

It was good though, but I don't think it was their kind of movie. :D

Yeah, I definitely liked the look into their hierarchy with the evolving story line: changing their marks to hide themselves better, training a group to specifically attack him, etc. I liked having Whistler back because I loved his character. And yes, the girl was definitely hot ;)

The story idea for the last of the trilogy sounds interesting so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll make it's August 2004 release date.

Heh, the car is technically 'fixed' but I don't always trust it. For instance: 1) the heater sucks, but that's nothing that can be fixed. This model was notorious for this problem. 2) coolant levels are always low. There appears to be a leak at or some where close, to the bottom of the reservoir so it doesn't hold a lot of fluid and always reads as very low, tres annoying and 3) muffler system needs to be replaced. But do I want to spend money on all that if it's not necessary? Nope heh.
