Car stuff

Figures, I found out I had missed them by only a few seconds. They had to leave and couldn't wait any longer apparently. Just my luck. *smirks* Anyway, they are free rides so I can't complain much.

Old friends

It's odd how your old friends can suddenly contact you out of nowhere. Before I left university in London, I had a friend who I spent a fair bit of time with(Dan). After I moved at the end of my last term at the university, I tried to contact him from my new place and was not successful by either email or ICQ. I had no idea what had happened to him. He had been trying to get into the US military for some strange reason that I never understood, but I helped him out with it. After that, I never heard from him again. I had assumed he was successful in his attempts to do so. All I could do is wait and see if he would contact me. As of a short while ago, he did contact me through ICQ email express after more than a year and a half. I'm looking forward to hearing from him again! He was married and had a child, and I saw them all fairly often. I missed them all, especially their daughter.
