Lucky me
I discovered about 3 days ago that my CD-ROM was dying. I was not happy obviously. Well, it appears it's now dead. *smirks* I had hoped it would last at least a month or two longer before that happened.
It turns out that there is a spare CD-ROM around here so I can use that one. The trick will be installing it. I'm sure I"ll do okay, it's just not something I've done yet. Yay, new experiences.
