It is a little expensive, but I figure that it's around $50CDN/year to keep an active phone number so that if/when I ever do go back into Canada and the like, people can call me and let me know if/when they want to meet up or something.
And it saves having to pay the phone fees from the hotels and stuff I stay in. =)
