Some scientists have developed a way to get broken bones to heal more quickly and also help to heal severe damage, like a crush from a car accident. So far it works on small animals and they are going to expand to larger animals and then humans. They developed a sponge-like structure that is bio-degradable that the bone cells grow along and fill in the gaps.
