It took longer than I expected, butthe fallout from the equalization deals for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland has started.
So yesterday I heard about why the anesthesiologists are doing their so called 'study session'. They are unhappy with a proposed 19% raise over 4 years. 19%. They are already making a lot of money due to all the overtime available to them and such, and they want that kind of raise.
This is an interesting idea, but with the restrictions it has left available to itself, makes it into a marketing ploy more than anything else, but interesting anyway.
It's amazing that the woman has awaken from her coma after 20 years, but you find out that the hit and run drunk driver got a mere 6 months in prison. What a difference 20 years makes. Back then, things like that were not taken seriously, now, convictions would have been much harsher.
