Um, wow?

I was directed to this article by a friend. I couldn't believe it when I read it. The article talks about some of Bush's science policies and how they are doing things according to their ideology and not on science. Anything that contradicts their ideology is ignored and other science is distorted to suit it. For instance: It mentions on how the government had posted a page on the National Cancer Institute Web site that included information that linked abortion with breast cancer when there is absolutely no link. Another situation has the White House appointing to an advisory panel, a person who believes that children will be fine with high levels of lead in their blood. There are other examples including of course condoms and abstinence. That's just, wow.
