An update

The first day went fairly well for me for the applied group. The academic group though, seems I didn't prepare enough work for them. Hhhmmmm, will have to change that in the future. As for total number of students, they upped me to 39!! ACK! Thankfully a number of people didn't show up so I'm at 31 at the moment. But more may show up tomorrow instead. Have to wait and see. Not happy with that since it's creates a huge amount of work for me to do. Then of course, irony had to hit me hard today. Why? Remember one of the reasons I wanted to go to this school was the A/C? For whatever reason, it wasn't working in my classroom. Lovely. So it was like an oven in there. The class itself is pretty good so far, but their language is bad. Not to mention the mess they left and they got lazy about being late coming back from breaks. Will have to give them a few talks tomorrow about things.

I got my photocopying done before leaving the school so that reduces how much I have to deal with tomorrow morning. Yay! In the meantime, I still have lots of work to do tonight. Oh, and I was given another course for the second half and the best thing? It's grade 10 applied math which means it's by itself! No mixed class yet! So that will be cool. Got lots to do now.
