Bait and Switch!
Mar. 4th, 2003 08:26 pmYesterday when I said I'd go to Simcoe, I was told it was for three sections of math. When I got there this morning and looked at the lesson plans, I noticed something. I'm fairly certain that English, History, and World Civilizations are not math courses, but maybe that's just me heh. Things like that actually happen fairly often though. It was an easy day which was good due to how crappy I feel. Especially in last period when the pain intensified on me. But with it being so easy, I couldn't have an evaluation done so that will have to wait till another day. I talked with some of the staff today, I find teachers are often fun people to talk with, especially in smaller schools.
Getting a permanent position is going to take awhile for me. Why? With the last year of the old system, two grades are graduating at the same time this year and then the new system takes over completely (the elimination of OAC aka grade 13) which means a reduction in how many teachers are needed. This will make it harder for me to get a spot, blah.
Bad weather tonight, probably some school closures tomorrow. Should be interesting to see what happens.
